Perpetual Poem by Hanif Hassan Barbhuiya

Perpetual

Deep bore fondness, goaded as the wind
Turned myself from usher profundity
Buried the feelings deep in a silent tomb
Only a speck of love could ignite
A vial smile of yours
Least along all, I felt alive
Had I been so beguiled?
Were I so blind?
The worst twinge, distresses could bear
But that wasn't the heavenly plan
For my sight fell upon a treasure
A treasure enduring, I hoped to cherish
Even for the tiny freckle of a moment
I wished to fly along the might oceans
To have a glimpse, to vicissitude the pleasure
Knowing my heart's best paragon
I swear to the every dust on Earth
How could I not love you?
How could I stay desolate?
