Cruel Winds Of Destiny Poem by Hanif Hassan Barbhuiya

Cruel Winds Of Destiny

Stood amidst the tormented winds
Aimless sails of the desired past
Knee dug deep into the grainy sand
Grainy sand of wiped dreams last
Tried to grasp the tiny little drops
With the feeble sour fingers
Waves of destiny roared mercilessly
Despair Desolation Dejection
The endured soul could only bear
A wail, a scream
Far within the long lost dream
The howl, the moan
Of the gone sailor unknown
Hopes and faith of the vagrant
Deprived of, deprived from
Hear could only feel
Eyes could only see
The cruel winds of destiny
