A Suffocated Heart Poem by SHELTON SIMIYU

A Suffocated Heart

I heard the loud wail
Of a heart in jail
Crying with pain
But all was in vain

A good heart was it
That shone quite bright
But the road taken
Of love that's broken
Succumb the gentle heart
And stopped to beat
For love.
