The Last Drop Poem by SHELTON SIMIYU

The Last Drop

Rating: 5.0

When am no more
When am long gone
Who will shed the last drop?
Who will mourn for a poet?

When my eyes close
And my nose cease to air
Who will wail for lost love?
That freely a poet gave.

When my casket lie
On table burial to await
Last drop of tear I wonder
Who will genuinely sigh?
For a lost friend!
A lost love!
