A Summer Place Poem by Paul Warren

A Summer Place

Somewhere away from the rat race
Where you were mine
In such a melancholy time
You touched my heart
And we swore not to part

The warm summer sun and cool breeze feel
As we walked along the beach as the time stood still
And we remained entwined together
No one but us forever.
