cedars
maples
alders
and the occasional fir
a sudden aspen cluster
surprises
A burst of sun
a waft of autumn zephyr
awaken a splash of gold
among aspens
a flash of memories
Flaxen leaves fall
against the backdropp of cerulean skies
and bring forth past perfume
and thoughts
A whisper on the wind
and I can scarcely breathe
