I travel across the distance on the force of a stare
Braving Blizzards in pursuit of the hot flare
That golden glow I see that burns
In your chest with no wood and no coal, but whose embers still warmly blow
Through scorched earth and piles of Ash
I dig through just to make this fire in your heart last
I'd throw the clothes off my back into the blaze
Just to see our fire burn through your gaze
Do you light up for me in the dark like I do? Would you drench yourself for us on rainy days?
Do you take time to listen to what fate says?
Do you bend your ear when the instrument of ecstasy plays?
Well my soul lights up for you and disgraces the stars
My soul drowns in the storm of your presence till it drifts to where the islands are
Like the tattoo on my arm, I write the words of our fate on my sleeve
And dance to the tune of our ecstacy till the energy leaves
