A Syrian Boy's Appeal Poem by Sasanka Sekhar Panda

A Syrian Boy's Appeal

Rating: 5.0

Don't crush me under your feet,
don't bombard and smash the building
I live in,
I am a little child
yet to understand what is what,
evan I don't know
why you fight among yourselves
with guns and mortars in hands,
have you seen your handsome
appearance, turning so brutal,
your sweet smile has vanished
from your beautiful lips,
satan has settled in your heart
and you have transformed yourself
a devil, unknowingly.
