A Talk About Friends And “friends” - Poem by Krazy Rae

It's only June and already
I'm ready for school
to begin.
Boredom set in
quickly as the people I thought
were friends ditch me over a mistake.
There is nothing more bothersome
than a supposed friend
Yet most of the time it
feels like those are friends
I have though in the end who
needs them to be a hindrance
Yet sometimes there is feelings
of something being inadequate
but there is no need for those feelings
anyhow. So find that one true friend
that will stick by you
and you can weather any storm
that comes your way.
