I don't understand what I'm feeling,
I can't comprehend this dream.
I didn't miss your warmth,
Not until it was too late.

I remember the way you made me feel.
Safe, complete,
As if I could sit forever in your arms,
And never need to breath again.

The time we had, it was so short,
A millisecond to the universe,
A breath to the stars that danced, for me, in your eyes.
In that small space of time how could you leave such a hole?

I felt nothing for the longest time,
I didn't want to, and still don't.
I can't move on, can't face the hurt you've caused.
I can't understand why, I don't want to.

And now, years later,
I realize you mattered more than I could ever have imagined,
And you still do.
Now I am alone, your magic is gone,
I am only happy on the out side,
While i try to cover the hole you made,
And it tries to swallow me,
Plunging me into eternal darkness.
