A Thought Poem by Jimmy Ricky Jazz

A Thought

Rating: 5.0

Flying throughout the black skies
in the black and darkest night,
fighting away from the problems we face
in the costume of the darkest knight.
Struggling between the lies
killing itself alongside with the spies
I can't hold it tight.
When is life going to be bright?

Burning the black powder with its rocket ship,
reciting the alphabet, off track the marionette.
How can you live with it?
How can you make 'em suffer?
Poor children of the darkness
Poor humans living in the sadness,
Free of any charge or guilt
How can you live with it?

How has humanity came to this?
Hungry Humans on the side of the street and the cities
Animals running corporations
buying the gladness for the rich
Selling the lives of the ones who would die to wish.
Humanity has too many of a glitch.
I'm tired of the nations
and the hopeless generations, fake expectations.

How can they fight for this?
Coming to nowhere Humans are, I see.
Animals like, without emotions.
Feeling the shock again
Of the millions hungry without savior nor misbehavior.
I wonder if you feel the agony,
Where are humanity's foundations?
Did they die on this celebrations?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
To me this ain't a poem, for now. As I transcribed the poem I thought ' It would be a good Idea if I extended this poem and divided it in sections and so on', maybe I will.
To understand this poem you must look at humanity's past, present and future, the starving kids living on your street and world.
