a land sought
by men
of the hours when
pretty sparks
were seen in the dark.
a thought
people rot
yet their story is unread
they died until they were dead.
they 'll never have deserved fame
because no one will ever know their names
and it's sad
that we'll never know the life they had.
a thought
an afternoon is hot.
you say you don't have what to do
can't you see the work piled in front of you?
even if you're nothing
you could still do something
like cooking in a pot
a useful thought.
