A Thought For Stray Dogs - Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

Lonely eyes, they are victims
Live on scraps, die on our whims
None to care, none to look
No love for them, no warm nook
If only a little concern, a little pity
Just for the sake of life’s dignity
By the lucky ones with home and hearth
Think, they need your heart’s warmth.
