A Thousand Poems Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

A Thousand Poems

A thousand poems, that's my quest,
With steady rhythm, and rhymes expressed.
My goal is set, for this time,
Then I'll hang up my rhyming chime.

The poet's task, then will
be done,
New adventures will have begun.
We'll walk together, hand in hand,
On paths unknown, across the land.

Where we're going, I don't know,
How we'll get there, time will show.
When it happens, is still a surprise,
Written in the future's skies.
