A Tiger's Eyes Poem by Diya Unnikrishnan

A Tiger's Eyes

Rating: 5.0

A tiger's eyes are a thing to marvel
Many-a-story hidden inside them
All unique, with a different sparkle
We'll never know what hides behind those
Glassy orbs filled with conundrum

Some may tell us stories of old,
With adventure and mirth galore
Some may be filled with sorrow,
Some about ancient lore

But alas, we must pray for this sacred race
For their luck has almost run out
They soon must bid us adieu
Unless we stand together to save
This beautiful creature brave

Part 2. This short poem evidences that Divya is a talented poet. And her concern for the endangered species of felines is conscientiously shared by me.

Beautiful poem. The poet says it all when she writes, " Some may tell us stories of old, With adventure and mirth galore Some may be filled with sorrow, Some about ancient lore"
