A Tiny World That We Disown It Clearly. Poem by MOHAMMAD SKATI

A Tiny World That We Disown It Clearly.

We only own a coffin and
A tomb in a certain graveyard that
Are always ready for us
Without any hesitation,
Our life is so short that
Accelerates our inevitable death
Anytime, anywhere, and everywhere,
We own only our good and bad deeds that will
Follow us sooner or later
Into the other world,
No one likes to die, but
It's out of our will,
What we really own is temporary
In this temporary world,
We are only liable to
Our deeds anytime,
We disown anything
Although we claim that
We own a lot of things,
We survive for a short period of time
Simply because our current world
Is not everlasting at all.
We can not stay
In our current world
For ever and ever,
We love to be here
For ever and ever, but
It's all out of our will,
People come and go
Without any hesitation,
We live to be here
To be tested only
If we are good or bad
With our deeds,
Our whole world (our planet) is completely
Tiny although many of us exaggerate it too much,
We clearly disown a world that
Is short-lived, tiny, and temporary.
