A Titleless Poem Poem by Hamid eldood Mahdi

A Titleless Poem

Shake not the corners ‎
Of the sinking ships.‎
Night vigil worshippers' foreheads ‎
Never desert the earth.‎

The violent whirlwinds fail ‎
To uproot the gigantic pillars.‎
The unseen force guards them! ‎
GOD is always awake.‎

Scrambling the dunes of glory, ‎
Inevitably bound to untimely death.‎
KNOWLEDGE is the only cure for
Bleaching the yellow teeth
Empowering spirit stability.‎

Shortness of life must invigorate ‎
Love, intimacy, and piety ‎
Into man's soul! ‎
God is always awake.‎
‎"Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him"‎
