A Touch - Poem by alex haywood

Does she feel
what my hands hear
as I gently lift
the hair
out of her eyes?

or the energy
that passes
at the smallest
of caresses?

can she even conceive
how much I know
now that my fingers
have brushed her brow?

If I share my secret
would she even let me
touch her
ever so gently?
