A Tragedy Becomes Me” Poem by Thomas E. Kelly Jr.

A Tragedy Becomes Me”

I sit by the phone
I wait for your call
I wipe these tears
Before they fall

Do you enjoy?
Playing your game
Sitting there knowing
That you cause me pain

I’ve had enough
I can’t take any more
Will you look at me now?
As I lie dead on the floor

You are at fault
For my suicide
I’ll haunt your dreams
Every time you close your eyes
