A Tragic Moment Poem by Tess Rockenstire

A Tragic Moment

Rating: 5.0

Life is bold beneath a tragic memory
It unveils strength, a gateway for change.
Tears is a passage for a smile,
Casting shadows of a new life.

Letting go for a ‘love’ shortened by death,
Pain is amenable, tragic yet is amazing.
How a human being able to sustain life,
An era ends, and spring comes forth.

Subject to change is our earthly life,
It’s passing unpredictable, like a thief of the night.
Can we surpass and gain wisdom from it all?
Or prepare and enjoy every event of our passing time?

I prepare not to think of my own destiny.
Rather, enjoy the sunshine, and rain
For both are gifts from above.
Laugh more, absorb new wisdom,
Care more, and create a balance.

Great piece, the importance of knowing who we are...the pain we must bare witness, and the happiness that sets our us free. A fine write..with a poetic flow of brilliance all the best Jon
