A Child In Me Poem by Tess Rockenstire

A Child In Me

Rating: 5.0

This is a day to remember,
A joyful day in winter,
As I walked in the fallen snow,
Upon the hills I go.

I could ride my Toboggan,
And slide down the hill.
Or skate through the ice,
With my dog Bingo.

I feel the chill of winter,
Warmed by a cup of hot coco.
I sat by the fire rather than slumber,
I looked on -
Whilst kids tumbled down the snow.

I could make a snowman
Or create a snow angel,
I could snowball fight,
It would be a grand sight.

I agree with Zipty. It's just you want to feel like a kid again because of so much childhood years. Well done.
