A Tree With Just A Stem Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

A Tree With Just A Stem

Rating: 5.0

I am
A human being—
A tree with a stem,
Sans qualifying
Cluttering emblem,
And anything more
To this vital core
Seems needless loading.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Human as an adjective should include all human qualities. Since unfortunately it is not so, we need to add one more adjective, humane, for human qualities that go beyond physical characteristics of a human being, a needless loading.
