A Vile Game Poem by khalid thepoet

A Vile Game

Seal my eyes
Behind thy fears take shelter
Cling firm to thy damn guise!
You! Self-hater!

Fast passing moments is life
Memories only lurk in the wounded heart
Sharper than any knife
Brilliant at heart-breaking art!

You live thy dull day
And maybe with love dare play!
You get suddenly hurt
And then…
Blind, you rove the earth!

You surely knew the word
Before thy tongue became a raging sword!
You wanted to say it
Loudly and joyfully
But you just got, strangely, stuck
And with hypocritical tears
Lamented thy bad luck!

Seal my eyes
And mock me with thy malicious smile
A wise, vigilant heart knew all thy lies!
Thy game, dear guise, really was vile!
