A Violet Poem by Liilia Talts Morrison

A Violet

Rating: 5.0

Among the rivulets of water
That spring has coaxed from wintry ice
There is a little hidden flower
That peeks from patches of black earth

It's fragrance is quite overwhelming
Its color unbelievable
Though small, its memory unending
Who can forget a violet?
