A Virus



Love is like a virus
Eating at my heart
Twisting my emotions
Tearing me apart
Feeling lost in sadness
Confusion clouds my brain
Tears begin to flood my eyes
Dripping down like rain
A soul that burns my heart in grief
A pain I can not hide
The look of loss carved on my face
From all the hurt inside
