Doing It Rough Poem by Jennifer Schmidt

Doing It Rough

I never go out to wine and dine
Steak and chips they do just fine
I never owned a diamond ring
I only found them useless bling
I remember them girls that had it all
Manicurenails and put on pedestals
Lets not forget the mucho men
Driving daddy's Mercedes Benz
I didn't have the finer stuff
But that didn't mean I did it rough.
I enjoyed all the smaller things
Especially the feeling love would bring.
