A Visitor Poem by Th3 Craft3r

A Visitor

From a distance I saw her again
Her long silky hair floating in the wind
She seemed to be sad and crying,
as she stood gazing at the marble pavement.
How long has it been,
Since the first time she came?

I wonder who she was…

As I began to approach her
Her sobs seemed to be getting louder
and her breathing much heavier
She turned and I was surprised
as I began to realize and recognize
that she was the woman I loved
and the only one that I had.

I came closer to meet her
and I wanted to embrace her.
I was surprised when she passed,
right through me…
Then I began to fell on my knee.

For a moment she laid down a flower
and then to the wind she whispered,
“You’re the one I’ll always love and miss!
and may you Rest In Peace.”
