Fallen Angel Poem by Th3 Craft3r

Fallen Angel

Black grows the lily and gray grows the rose,
Your soul would regret the path you chose.
You had given up your halo and shed your wings,
So that you may enjoy all those mortal things.

I can see through your thin veil of disguise,
The angel’s flame still burn in your eyes.
The thorns are all dancing around you,
And lore masters told stories about you too.

The golden bells are now beginning to toll
And flowers withered just like in the fall.
Everything seems to have suddenly change
And raindrops turn to poison on the wind.

The promise of immortality you had forsaken,
Like a beating heart suddenly frozen.
Now your youth slowly withers of age.
And the radiance of your light slowly fades.

Toll now the dark – golden funeral bell
As your spirit descends to the abyss of hell
You had given up your eternal grace
And died just to feel love’s embrace

Like a day suddenly turned to night
You had lost your god – given light
Suffer now the consequences you had taken
And wish of redemption once again.
