A Walk Into The Clouds –a Dream Poem by Praveen Claude Fernandez

The mist and dew pouring in i left my door open and stepped aside
The football gound was inviting decided to test myself alone
I pranced at the ball and did not hit at the post in the first go
i pushed myself and went ahead with the second kick..

I saw the clouds pouring down
But zap I kicked! !
The goal keeper was left only to frown
As I cleared the goal
And took it all away as a whole

The rains stopped suddenly
And I felt as though I won a thousand battles
In spite of many rattles and obstacles
Abrupt the dew near the window
Fell and I awoke..it was a walk into the clouds
