A Walk On The Path Poem by Purvesh khamankar

A Walk On The Path

Rating: 3.5

Forgetting to breathe for an image unseen,
bading goodbye to kith and kin.
Dusting off settled fading shades,
honouring them as struggling days.

The road not taken lays in front of you,
flowing foreward to do something new.
A glance back to see the empty sun,
feet stamping hard to leave a hallowed run.

Forks entangled some came by and by,
partly streching lips heart that cry and cry.
But none like you, will that shares blood,
they are dry land who favours flood.

Some decay, some demand, some never exist,
some with the flow some dare resist.
The way you carved is the way you seem,
the path you won is the path you dream.
