A Wall Street Thought Poem by Hardil Majmudar

A Wall Street Thought

Rating: 4.0

In the shadowy night I stood on the lane
to see the darkness as it sway

life was taking its turns
childhood was so much fun

acting as dumb and spreading idiotism
was the only motto we had

when studying was a bore,
listening to lectures made our years sore

life was so much fun
adventures made our legs run

mere name of the witch gave us a adrenaline rush
and solitude in darkness made us rush

the silence of the shadowy night holds me
memoirs of my gone days flash before me

wrong anticipations led to great loss
and wrong friendship affected my life

wrong investments sometimes made me feel dead
right profits made me feel the kingness

was this life?
insults were to be considered advices

life is a battle says the mind
tiresome nights have to be experienced

so whenever we get time
live life king size.! !
