A Warrior's Spirit Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

A Warrior's Spirit

A fighter I am, though not with sword,
But against unseen foes, a silent accord.
My body's a battleground, a lifelong fight,
Against invaders, stealing my light.

With medical soldiers, a brave, loyal crew,
We faced down the shadows, saw the battles through.
Each victory hard-won, a testament true,
To strength found within, and help from you.

So lucky, so grateful, for hands that mend,
For kind hearts that whisper, 'On you, depend.'
The doctors, the nurses, warriors of health,
And all who offered comfort, a priceless wealth.

For life's not just sunshine, but storms we must brave,
The struggle and hardship, the courage they gave.
Between moments of brightness, the fight makes us whole,
A warrior's spirit, etched deep in my soul.
