A Whole Truth, Yet Stands Alone Poem by Mohammad Younus

A Whole Truth, Yet Stands Alone

A whole truth, yet stands alone,
A constant presence, yet scarcely known.
He breathes in our thoughts, our dreams,
hopes, and fears,
Yet speaks only faintly—a whisper in our ears.

I am the canvas upon which He's drawn,
The stage where His story of creation is born.
In me, He has stored His memories vast—
Creation, destruction, and the return at last.
Yet He flees from my grasp like the morning star,
So close, yet distant, forever afar.

He is the breath that fills my lungs,
The spark that lights my soul's unsung songs.
The fire that stirs and will not dim,
The voice that guides through thick and thin.

He is the essence of all I am,
The core of my seeing, hearing, and speech.
I am the answer to the riddle I seek,
The truth that lies within and beyond me.
What am I? And who is He?
