One more rotation with spins
is complete;
The old is left behind as the past
Anxious, zealous and fresh memories are cast
Be the unfulfilled, eager, nervous wishes replete;
Ambition contained within the benevolence -bound
Courage and confidence enough to pedal
The Wheel of Fortune through the huddle
Of all odds and alarms which astound
The conducive, diffident, unready, febrile mind;
Let not only the chosen slides rewind.


Wishes are bottled up and lie scattered apart;
One may just choose or make a casual pick,
Find the false cheering spirit to flick
The formless gusto to play the part;
Will the change imminent be self-piloted one,
Or let Hope drag for an elusive run...?
