(a Wind That Whips) Poem by Hannah Crane

(a Wind That Whips)

Rating: 3.1

A wind that whips
The ground cries, shakes
Screaming words,
Indecipherable.

But it is quiet tonight.

The world hushed
Watches, listens
As the two
Spark, burn, glow. Violently.

Gentle movements
The rise and fall
Whisper words
That last until forever.
