Intertwined Emotions Poem by Hannah Crane

Intertwined Emotions

An ocean between us
waves of despair
I think of the time wasted
without you
I think of the things we've shared
they're gone
The ocean is in my eyes now.

And nothing is the same
without you
I still laugh with friends
I still run and talk and breathe
But it's fake.
It's all a cover up.
The waves never cease to crash
on this heart of mine.

Tell me you feel the same.
