A Wishful Thinking (Free Style) Poem by Dorian Petersen Potter

I don't know why bad things have to happen
But we have to accept them as they arrive
They're just too many things to understand
And events that keep taking place in our lives.

I just wish that you didn't have to go through
Any of the sad and bad things you endure too
Even when I know is only a wishful thinking
Day and night I cant stop wishing this for you.

Life goes on no matter what you believe or feel
Some days are filled of sun and others are full of rain
There isn't much you and I can do sometimes
We can't control many things that in the end will cause us pain.

So lets be happy and smile when were having and are enjoying a good time
Remember that good times won't last and being sad is just a waste of time.
