A Woman Named 'rehana' Poem by Sumita Jetley

A Woman Named 'rehana'

In the heart of a city, bustling and wide,
Lived Rehana, with dreams that soared high and wide.
Upon her terrace, among whispers of green,
She found her solace, her secret serene.

With plants her companions, and a bird bath near,
She watered her garden, devoid of all fear.
The world's weight lifted, in this moment so rare,
Amidst nature's embrace, free from despair.

Her gaze stretched beyond the horizon's embrace,
A smile danced on her lips, a light on her face.
The Sufi's wisdom, like a silent decree,
Echoed in her heart, set her spirit free.

Gentle manners and strength, a blend so divine,
In a world rushing forth, quietly shine.
The mystic's lessons, not in loud words spoken,
But in acts of love, and hearts wide open.

Rehana's story, a journey of the soul,
Of finding peace, of becoming whole.
A reminder profound, in the rush of our days,
Of the eternal truths that guide our ways.

So, on her terrace, under the sky so clear,
Rehana found her path, her vision so dear.
In the simple acts, in the beauty of life,
She found her strength, amidst the strife.
