In the color of her skin,
The way she fixes her hair,
How she walks,
Or the clothes she chooses to wear.
Her beauty lies within.
Her quiet strength
In the midst of difficulty,
Her soft smiles
Offered at no charge,
Her words, refreshing
As a cool drink of water
To a fellow weary traveler
On the road of life.
Choosing connection,
Expanding her borders,
Inviting everyone
To come join the circle
And commune in holy love-
This beautiful potential
Each woman possesses.
When we rediscover
Where our true beauty lies,
We elevate this world
Making it beautiful, too.
