A Wonderful Night Poem by Mohammad Younus

A Wonderful Night

On this wondrous night,
Within the beating heart of me,
A love call lingers—long and tender—Hu...
It stirs and soars, wild and free,
Across the skies of my dreams.

She embraces me—
She and I,
Nestled in clouds,
Beyond Illusion's reach.
In the splendor of her love,
I dissolve into her beauty—
Spirit and soul,
No rites or rituals needed
For love to be complete.

Like every dream,
I draw near,
Listening to her sweet songs.

And as the dream begins to fade,
I vow to her—
This love will rise anew.

The next night...
A new love,
Born of long travels through our dreams,
Arrives to meet my waking self.

Within love's cave,
I drink from her divine hands,
The sweetest nectar—
Flowing from the font of Lifewater,
Tasting like the rarest wine.
I drink until I am drunk,
Alive in the madness of dawn.

And as daybreak unfurls,
Face to face with her unveiled light,
A new poem of love I will write—
One that will never fade.
