A Word Of Welcome And Warning - Poem by Lora Cooley

Pick up the phone
Blessed are the fingers that paint the broken elbows
Coming through the window
And use your fingers
Tear away the restraints they call the body
It's temporary
For the body is a piece of art for you to tear to pieces
This is history to the games we play
Hang up the phone
