A Word - Poem by Kathryn Garner

i think ive heard that word before
and now ive heard it again
and while on that word
the sun will rise
with the lovers hearts
it will die upon the usage
of the word crudely
when the lover claims
'i dont love you'

'i don't love you! ' i've heard that flipflopping mind of his sa it so often! how i hate it too! I love how you turned a seemingly uninsirational word(s) into a poem that we all can identify with! (Report) Reply
