A Year In Bloom Poem by Debleena Chatterjee

The new year is a flower
emerging with careless grace,
grown by our choice of seeds
in the old one's place;

And if you nurture the flower
with a will to let it grow
little, hidden miracles
will begin to show;

For the choice is ours if we make
our seed bloom to its fullest,
or let it waste until it fades
and forget our task, so earnest;

So have your choice, pick your seeds,
and plant them with all your care,
and yours shall be
joy and prosperity
If you only do your share.
