Here I sit,
On a cold dark road,
All alone.
I am waiting,
For someone,
Who will never come.
I’ve been here,
All night long,
Crying my eyes out.
For me,
I’m alone,
My heart ripped out.
There you sit,
Across the way,
Alone as well.
You are waiting,
For someone,
Whose been hurt.
Because she’s hurt,
You’re hurt as well,
Will you ever heal?
For you,
You’re alone,
Your heart being hurt.
We sit here alone,
Abandoned.
