Abbey Poem by michael Smajda

Abbey

Oh, when I return to Ireland,
Will Abbey be waiting for me
With open arms and welcome kiss?
I will just have to wait and see.

To prove how much I missed her,
An engagement ring, sparkling, grand,
Is Abbey's, if she marries me,
Designed, especially, for her hand,
