Abducted Poem by Sekyewa Godfrey

Abducted

ABDUCTED

The men in masks surrounded him.
In drones with tinted glasses,
And shielded number plates.
For heaven's sake! He wouldn't survive.

They pulled out long guns,
His quiverish plea for mercy
Excited their brutish hands.
For heaven's sake! He wouldn't survive.

The hooded men grabbed at his balls.
On the ground he fell and pleaded mercy,
The heat underneath his pants unbearable.
For heaven's sake! He wouldn't survive.

What was his crime anyway?
Putting on a red beret was his treason.
Ah, that's a criminal offence!
For heaven's sake! He wouldn't survive.
