Abiding Wishes Poem by welkin siskin

Abiding Wishes

Rating: 5.0

Forever,

I wish I'd tend you sweetly

In the pupil of my eyes

As the Firmament

Invariably taking the hidden Sun

In the warmth of her bosom;

Till blue in the eyes,

I wish I'd drizzle with you

In beautiful days of fairish summer tide

Lithely in the gentle fall of snowflakes;

Ever and ever,

I wish I'd be on the same wavelength

With you in the Elysium of incredible real fantasy;

Till hell freezes,

I wish I'd raise the precious splendor

Of our lively comforts and build the stairways

To reach the rare kingdom of graceful horizon;

To the meadows of celestial living;

To that adorable pleasure-land of fortune,

To live forever, and as Romeo and Juliet

Within the wonderland of one heart;

In the love-kingdom of dispensed freedom

To savor the pinnacle of grace forever.
