About Fading Beauty And Future Glory. Sonnet 1

Your beauty's budding glory brings full delight,
keeps heads turning on their humdrum way,
agree in full bloom you are a glorious sight,
as hearts rem-anise on their own heyday,

Then knowing all glorious flowers fade,
rejoice now as they come to stand and stare,
your withered head now bowed in shameful shade,
knows now rejection as your hope becomes despair,

But the deception of appearance is soon revealed,
to be just vain conceit since greater glory now awaits,
for however trusts in what appears to be conceiled,
dead flowers have perfume that survives the earthly state,

so glory is increasing for those whose faith is now deployed,
So glory rises heavenward a chorus of approval and joy.
