About The House The Winds Beat Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

About The House The Winds Beat

About the house the winds beat
Aeolus must not be far
Not far from here
Cold in the marrow
Red eyes inflamed
Doors trembling
Windows knocking as ghosts
Knock:
The house
The whole house be a ghost-house.
Thanks to the winds
Thanks to Aeolus.
