Abraham, You Forgot Your Bride Poem by Xiangu HHE

Abraham, You Forgot Your Bride

Abraham you forgot your bride
Are you in Sudan
Safe and sound
How's your diner
How's your chicken
Deep fried
All you learnt
Not burnt your hand

Abraham you forgot your bride
So much dust
I have to wipe her face
I keep hearing the news from your country
All the not merry stories
How people surviving
Their basic needs
Even the rich Chinese
Running for their breath

Are you still some where
With your thirteen brothers
With your thirteen sisters
With your chicken deep fried
And have you made a mistake
To leave your bride
